Twenty-six years building software for repair shops — now in the cloud

Santa Rita Investments Inc. is the company behind AutoSoft Web. We started writing software for repair shops back when most repair orders were still filled in by hand, and we have done nothing else since: understand how a shop runs, and turn that into a system people can use every day, with dirty hands and the phone ringing.

That work produced two products. AutoSoft Online, for the United States and Canada, with the formats, the insurance carriers and the way shops in that market actually work. And AutoSoft Taller, for Spanish-speaking markets. Two desktop programs, twenty-six years of development, thousands of hours of support, and an enormous amount of detail learned straight from owners and service advisors.

That road left us something you cannot improvise: knowing exactly what a shop needs to get paid in full, not lose parts, measure its technicians and see the customer again in six months. Every module in AutoSoft Web today came out of a real problem somebody called us about.

Now comes the most important step this company has taken: leaving the desktop versions behind and moving entirely to the cloud. AutoSoft Web brings twenty-six years of experience into a new product, built on current cloud technology with artificial intelligence built in, available from any computer or phone, with nothing to install and nothing tied to one machine in the shop.

This is not a cosmetic migration. It is the same knowledge, rewritten from scratch for a world where the shop is run from the bay, the customer approves from their phone, and an AI agent answers in seconds what used to take half an hour of reports.
